Equal Opportunities

Thank you for supporting our work on diversity and inclusion. The questions on this page are optional. If you do not wish to answer, please continue to the next page.

The reason why we’re collecting this data is as part of our work to provide genuine equality of opportunity for our volunteers. We’ll do this by looking at the correlation between diversity characteristics and the volunteer journey at IU, reporting on this on an aggregated, anonymised basis, and then putting into place actions based on our findings. We’ll also evaluate the data on an ongoing basis so that we can measure the success of our actions.

We will only process equal opportunities data where we have your explicit consent, and this data will only be used to help us ensure that our recruitment procedures operate in such a way as to provide genuine equality of opportunity. IntoUniversity will only retain your personal information in our own database for as long as necessary in order to fulfil the purposes for which we need it, as described above. You may choose to "prefer not to say" or skip any question.

You have the right to access, correct or delete a copy of the data we hold about you at any time.  If you would like to do any of these things, or if you have any concerns, please contact us here. Please find further information in our privacy policy here. If you are happy for us to use your equal opportunities data for this purpose, please select 'yes'.
